CATWALK 2008 was a wonderful and memorable experience! Organized, purposeful and FUN, Catwalk met its objectives and more. I want to thank Tita Aida and Lee plus the fantastic staff and volunteers along with my fellow models for a night to remember!

As Catwalk spokes model, I will strive to bridge communities together to begin talks in building a stronger, bigger, and better Transgender community. I will continue to seek out the good and right things in our communities and bring it to the forefront for others to see and follow after.

My physical limitations led me to accept the fact that I had to do the best I can with what God has given and made available to me. I took a “reality check” pill and realized my external beauty can only get me so far in life. I had to build on my internal beauty and let that shine through.

I see us Catwalk models as ones who see the end of the runway as we see our goals in life. Dutifully and diligently, taking one-step at a time and with success in mind, we push forward regardless of the outcome.

After winning the title Catwalk ’08, Asian Vitale has appeared in Josh Klipp’s Music Video entitled, “Tell Me” which has been on the LOGO Channel. Asia also appeared in the Banyan Tree Project PSA produced by A&PI Wellness Center which launched on December 1, 2008, World AIDS Day and aired in the West Coast. Asia continues to do modeling on the runway, print and film.
